What a shame .... what was known from the Katzbrui mill is no longer there. The location is amazing. But the food sometimes leaves something to be desired. Really sad, because you could eat very well here and felt very at home. The roosters used to be much better and the prices were raised quite a bit.

Very nicely located inn in the forest.Only those in the know know this house with its delicious cuisine, especially the sauces, a recommendable gem especially for cyclists and hikers.

Nice place, nice mill, but now a culinary abyss: Jägerschnitzel with french fries, half a chicken with french fries, ketchup and mayonnaise from the bag. A car restaurant, on the other hand, is a gourmet temple.

Today we went to lunch with all 14 locksmith employees. Everyone was enthusiastic, including the professional service.

It doesn't get any more rustic =) The mill was the starting and ending point for a hike. Behind the mill a small chapel and a spring in the forest ... Picture-perfect idyll ♥ After about 2 hours uphill and downhill we stopped at the Mühlenwirt. A great Swabian menu selection and the apple fritters with vanilla ice cream were very tasty ♥

Went for some late lunch which was ok. They have a large outside area and indoor seating. Service was ok, only one girl taking orders but seemed to be doing a good job. Food was nice, I had the Kässpätzle. The Beer hit the spot too. Would be a great location to visit whilst on a bike ride or hike!

Nice beer garden in the middle of nature. Romantic ambience. Unique chapel. Freshly prepared food. Friendly and fast service. The deer enclosure next door is also worth a visit.

Very nice location, would be 5 stars, the food between 2 and 4 stars (Hischschnitzel and game goulash rather 2 because too fat, thought game was lean, the side dishes and the sauce came but 4 stars) Unfortunately the conditions were a bit overloaded and it took 45 minutes until we got the food, so only 3 in total. Still, it's the ideal place for children.

Am thrilled. Very nice beer garden, friendly wait staff who weren't stressed despite two major events taking place at the same time, and an absolutely recommendable meal. We will be very happy to come back.

Its a nice place with delicious food. You can sit outside or inside, good service and good price. The only reason i don't give 5 stars is because of the flies inside, its disgusting to be eating and scaring flies at same time. They would stand up everywhere. Only in our table were around 20 flies flying around our food
